Day Three Scarf Project/Day one of Blog Project

It's funny starting a blog on the third day of a knitting project, but as Dr. Seuss says "Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter". Anyways, I took on the task of knitting scarves for my family back in Ohio. Yes, it's spring and there won't be a need for them when right away when I'm done, but I'm a beginner and the scarf patter is easy. So sue me (please don't).

Right now I'm using a bright pink worsted medium yarn. The scarf is about 8 inches long so far, and the pattern calls for the scarf to be 49 in. long. However, I'm lowering that to probably around 39 in since this is scarf is for my cousin Alexandra. She's about 4 or 5 now and will absolutely adore how bright this pink is, she loves princesses and we all know that pretty princesses love bright pink (at least aurora does anyways). I shall post some pictures when the scarf is feeling photogenic. The poor dear has feelings too you know! Just kidding. But I will post pictures soon enough.
